Netflix is coming up with a special package to attract more subscribers and increase their usage at the same time. This OTT platform is introducing an ad-based plan in certain markets. At the same time, password sharing is being stopped in several places.

Last year, Netflix's former CEO Reed Hastings said that password sharing will be phased out.

Current CEOs Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos told Bloomberg that password sharing is being stopped for all users. As a result, those who watch content online with passwords from friends will now have to pay for it.

From March this year, apart from India, this password sharing issue is going to be stopped in several Latin American countries such as Chile, Peru, Costa Rica etc.
